August 19,20XX, Sunny

It was sunny and very hot today. I got up early and helped my parents cook breakfast. Then I washed the dishes and cleaned the room. After a short rest I did my homework in the morning. In the afternoon I went swimming in the nearest swimming pool with my friends. It was really cool to swim in such a hot day. I surfed the internet and read a storybook in the evening. I really had a busy and happy day.

There are many people who think that wealth is better than health. I used to think so until one day I read a story about Howard Hughes. He was an American billionaire who got everything he wanted. However, in the last twenty years of his life,his health began to deteriorate and he was miserable. He had the best doctors and nurses.

However, he could still find no relief. I realized that health is worth all the money in the world. If you have millions of dollars but your health is poor, you will not be able to do what you want to do.

So I would like to say don't hurt yourself and try to make ead, take care of your body and be happy at what you do. Health is more important.

It is a special day today. My mother sent one hundred basket of red bayberries. I like to eat red bayberries. It tastes nice. When they arrived in Shanghai, they were still fresh. But most of them would be sent to my mother’s business friends. I chose the best basket of red bayberries to eat. I put the rest in my refrigerator. Red bayberry is my hometown’s special product. It is well-known in china. Many people like to eat it.

Today is cloudy, but still very hot. I stayed at home, finished my home work and watched a movie, which is called illusionist. It is difficult to understand at the beginning, but I got to know it and enjoyed later then. It is a story happened in the 19th century in Europe, which is about love, trick and ambition among a magician, his lover in his childhood and the lover’s husband. You could only know it at the very end of the story.
